 Every week there has been one announcement from Balaji Mohan about the cast and crew of his next project, Maari 2 with Dhanush in the lead. This sequel already has Malayalam sensation, Sai Pallavi playing the female lead, while Tovino Thomas will be the antagonist. Yesterday, the team announced that actor Krishna would be playing the second male lead and it just raised up the expectations set on this project.
One of the factors which the team has been holding in is the name of the music director of the movie. A large section of the audience is expecting Anirudh to return and collaborate with Dhanush due to the massive success they had tasted with the music of Maari. Our sources tell us that after a long gap of 9 years, Dhanush is expected to collaborate with Yuvan Shankar Raja to score the music for his film. Yaaradi Nee Mohini was the last time the two worked together on a movie, though Dhanush did sing a couple of songs for Yuvan in the meantime. Though there has been no official confirmation on the same, we know very well that if this combination comes together, it is a sure shot success! |
