Superstar Rajinikanth – KS Ravikumar’s ‘Lingaa’ went on floors earlier today and there is a fresh buzz about the movie. It looks like Santhanam might be a part of this prestigious project, as ‘Lingaa’ team has approached the Comedy Superstar to do an important role. However, Santhanam is yet to agree to do the film as he needs to work around his dates.

It is worth mentioning that Anushka and Sonakshi Sinha play the leading ladies, while Jagapathi Babu plays the antagonist in the film. AR Rahman will be in charge of music for the film. Watch this space for more updates on this!

Santhanam is playing the lead role in Vallavanukku Pullum Aayutham and this film’s shooting is progressing fast as the filmmakers intend to release it on May 9th. The shooting of VPA is currently on at a location in Sri Perumbudur near Chennai.

Sources say that at the shooting spot, the producers have ensured that everyone is served the same food. This, we hear, is on the instructions of Santhanam, who is producing the film under his home banner. Sources also add that Santhanam prefers vegetarian food on the sets and turned a complete vegan since he started to act in this film.
